Adiction and factors of internet misuse, in a sample of university students

The study aims to determine the internet addiction and the factors on Internet misuse in university students from H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Methodology: The population was 1,125 students and a sample of 323 students, from a public university, the instrument used was "Cuestionario de Uso Problemático de Internet" (CUPI) with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.966, the study design was descriptive cross-sectional. Results: It was found that the factor "Anticipation" had the most probability and the less were "Know of control" and "Recognition Lack of Control".
