Escritura académica colaborativa: el uso de Wikis en un programa de Licenciatura en Enseñanza de Idiomas.

Resumen

Se reporta el uso de Wikis para la práctica de habilidades de escritura académica colaborativa a nivel universitario. El análisis de las bitácoras de actividad y de los textos producidos ayudó a identificar que el tipo y el nivel de involucramiento en las acciones más frecuentes fueron las de añadir información relevante al texto y modificarlo hacia una estructura específica (Hadjerrouit, 2016); el tipo de recursos del metadiscurso en la escritura académica más empleados fueron los de tipo interactivo, seguido de los interpersonales (Kuteeva, 2011 & Hyland, 2004); la estrategia pedagógica de trabajo por proyectos, para el empleo de la Wiki, permite ver en esta herramienta su carácter flexible, practicar estrategias de escritura académica colaborativa y procesos del pensamiento crítico.

Abstract

The use of Wikis for the practice of collaborative writing skills at the university level is reported. The analysis of the activity logs and of the produced texts helped to identify that the most frequent kind and level of activity engagement was to add relevant information to the text and to modify it towards a specific structure (Hadjerrouit, 2016); the most used metadiscourse resources types were the interactive followed by the interpersonal ones (Kuteeva, 2011 & Hyland, 2004); the pedagogic strategy of work by Projects, in which the use of the Wiki was implemented, allowed to see its flexible character, to practice collaborative writing skills and to practice critical thinking processes.
